“We are dealing with a world problem. It is everybody and these spirits of the murdered women and girls are seeking an answer to stop all what’s happening to Indigenous women and girls, and to women and girls on this planet.
That’s why you see in this artwork so many people sitting so close to each other, like sardines packed into a can. That says that it is all the women, off on an epic quest.
The face at the back is the ancestors’ spirit, helping them as they travel.”
